Our Purpose

Vision & Mission

Our Vision

Whatever we do has a way of coming back to us, and there's no one better than the young minds on this earth to give back what has been taken from this planet. We believe it's never too late to do your part little drops of water make a mighty ocean.

We all have been sent to this world for a reason, and each person must try to solve this enigma to find their true purpose in life.

Our Mission

It's the little things that evoke the potential in every person be it a child or an adult. Our mission is to make this world a better place for living, not only rhetorically but literally.

The best way to achieve this is through education. The world is fast-paced, but so are we. We are committed to instilling awareness and resilience in young minds to actually change the face of the earth.

Changchup Choeling Monastery
Our Heritage

332 Years of Sacred History

Changchup Choeling Nunnery at Zangla village in Zanskar Valley, Union Territory of Ladakh, traces its origins to 1480–1677, when the great Indian Mahasiddhi Hari arrived to contemplate and meditate at various holy places including Tsazar Palmo Gon, Pilaphuk, and Stongday's Tseray.

Chakrasamvara was the main Yidam (meditational deity) of Mahasiddhi Hari. During his stays, he contemplated and visualized other deities including Hevajra, four-armed Mahakala, and the lion-faced Dakini.

Later, the princesses of Zangla Royal family Utpal Gyalmo and Purnang Gyalmo carried on renovation work at the existing Gonkhang. By the blessing of His Holiness the 5th Dalai Lama Lobzang Gyatso, a statue of 1000-armed Avalokitesvara and a Temple of Five Gyalpos were constructed.
